Why Play Squash?
Studies have shown that Squash can burn between 700 and 1000 calories per session. It was voted number one sport for fitness by Forbes magazine. Anybody can play squash – it’s easy to learn and the only equipment you need is a racket. Unlike many sports you can practice on your own or with others.
Club matches are short at 30-40 minutes so you can play regularly without committing too much time.
It’s a great stress reliever and will make you live till you’re 90.

Colinton Castle is a friendly community club. Participation levels in club competitions are high, and with no court hire fees you can play as much or as little as you want. We have 6 courts so court availability is rarely a problem.
